We have all seen Flexor posture , or Upper Crossed Syndrome. The C curve in the spine (Upper Back) , shoulders rounded forward , and a forward protruding head. An all too common posture distortion in our society , which is seen in the elderly population and can strike middle aged people as well. When we sit at the computer for hours on end , or work at a desk for 8 hours a day , our posture is in flexion (flexed , shortened).
The above exercise is one example of correcting posture with a core exercise , putting the muscles into extension.
