Psyllium


Ground sources from the psyllium plant are one of the highest sources of dietary fiber to be found in any food. For centuries, psyllium has been used to treat ulcers, colitis, and constipation. We now know that it helps clear the body of excess cholesterol. This herb is now touted as a preventative against heart disease. It may also raise the level of beneficial HDL’s (good cholesterol) in the blood.
